We simulated a pack leak. The detector returned the marked buyer.
FJR Looks watched La Creme spread free on Telegram, and takedowns bought a day at a time. In a controlled test, we marked their pack, re-exported it in DaVinci the way a pirate would, and the detector returned the marked test buyer. That proof belongs to the previous carrier; the current carrier is being revalidated before it is approved for customer file delivery.

A takedown erases the link. Tomorrow it is back. LeakTags gives you the name, and nobody erases that.
DMCA services like Rulta and BranditScan pull the pirate link down, but the file already circulated and it is back on another channel tomorrow. That is mopping the floor with the tap running. LeakTags shuts the tap: it does not take anything down, it tells you which buyer handed the file over. Then you block the account, cut the affiliate, or take it as evidence.

What every colorist asks before marking their first pack.
Does this actually work?
The method worked in the controlled FJR Looks test: we marked 166 La Creme LUTs in about 20 seconds, and the previous carrier returned the marked test buyer after real DaVinci and Lightroom round-trips. The current carrier passes the synthetic gates but is not approved for customer file delivery until those two real tests are repeated.
Does the mark change how my LUT or preset looks?
No. The change is imperceptible to the eye and to the final color. Your customer gets exactly the look they bought. The mark lives in a layer only the detector can see.
Can a pirate strip the mark by editing the header or re-exporting the file?
Editing the header does not remove the signal because the LeakTags mark lives inside the file values. The previous carrier also survived a full DaVinci re-export and a Lightroom Classic round-trip. The current carrier is still behind that same real-pair gate, so we do not claim re-export resistance for it yet.
Does it work with both .cube and .xmp?
Yes, both carry a buyer-linked mark. On .xmp the signal lives in the preset's color table, not the header. The previous carrier passed a real Lightroom Classic round-trip; the current carrier still has to repeat it before customer delivery.
Do I have to change my checkout?
No. LeakTags connects to the checkout you already use (Hotmart, Gumroad, and others) through a webhook or a simple link: you keep selling where you sell today, and nothing changes for your buyer.
Is this DRM that locks my customer out of the file?
No. The file your customer downloads is a normal, fully working .cube or .xmp. No license server, no activation, no lock. The mark is invisible and only matters if the file leaks.
Where do my files live? Do I still need Google Drive?
With us, and no. This is the Drive replacement: we host, version and deliver everything, your buyer downloads from the server closest to them anywhere in the world, and nobody asks for access, gets a share link or finds a folder that outlived the sale. Space scales by plan: 2 GB on Indie, 10 GB on Pro, up to 50 GB on MAX, counting only the masters you upload.
Are my files and my secret safe?
Yes. Each account has its own secret key, locked away even from every other account: nobody can forge or reuse your buyers' fingerprints, not even another LeakTags user. Your masters are only processed to generate the marked copies you sell, and your buyer list stays yours.
What if my pack already leaked before I started using LeakTags?
The detector can't help with that old copy, since it was never marked. Going forward you are covered: your next sale ships marked, and the next leak comes with a trail. To pull the old material down, a DMCA service does the job; the two complement each other.
